Vibrant Celebrations of AAPI Heritage Month at Segerstrom Center

The Segerstrom Center for the Arts celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month this May with a series of free, vibrant events on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. Featuring an exciting mix of AAPI artists, the month includes dynamic dance classes, live music, film screenings, and family-friendly activities, ensuring entertainment for all ages. The Segerstrom Center for the Arts is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated return of the beloved stand-up comedian Brian Regan for a one-night-only performance in Segerstrom Hall on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 7:30 PM. Renowned for his perfect blend of sophisticated writing and physical comedy, Regan promises to deliver an unforgettable night of laughter that audiences won't want to miss.

Critics, fans, and fellow comedians alike hail Brian Regan as one of the most respected comedians in the country. Vanity Fair dubs him "The funniest stand-up alive," while Entertainment Weekly declares him "Your favorite comedian’s favorite comedian." With a career spanning over 30 years, Regan's relentless theater tours consistently sell out venues across North America, with nearly 100 cities visited each year.

Regan also enjoys success in television, starring in Peter Farrelly’s TV series, "Loudermilk," now streaming on Amazon Prime. He received acclaim for his portrayal of "Mugsy," a recovering addict estranged from his family. Additionally, Regan has premiered two stand-up specials on Netflix: "On The Rocks" and "Nunchucks And Flamethrowers," the latter also available as a vinyl album.
